About the Acupuncturist

Q-Baek Whang holds a Masters Degree in Oriental Medicine from the Samra University of Oriental Medicine in California. He practiced in North Carolina before opening Q’s Acupuncture & Herbs in Fairfax City, Virginia. Mr. Whang opened a second office of the same name in Winchester, Virginia.  Recently, he closed his Fairfax clinic in May, 2006, so that he could practice in the Winchester office full time.

Q-Baek has a background in nutritional counseling, including herbal, homeopathic, and supplemental nutrition. He has practiced martial arts for almost two decades, and is a Judo Master. He practices Taichichuan to keep balance within the body and mind and maintain vigorous circulation of Qi.  He believes that healing the body and mind-spirit starts from within and radiates out to all parts of life creating harmony, balance and happiness.

Q-Baek loves Shenandoah Valley and currently resides in a house he had built in Woodstock, Virginia.
